We are truly blessed in our mission with wonderful senior couples. This week, we had an incredible new couple arrive in Rome. They both served here in Italy when they were young, and they completed a mission in Milano just a short time ago. Their son lives in the Katy Stake, but they raised the children in the same stake where our son J now lives. They have been assigned to Pozzuoli, where I know they will be a great blessing.
After we said hello to this great couple, we had to say goodbye to another amazing couple who have served faithfully and are returning home. We will miss you!
We started the week going to the Questura to get fingerprinted so that we can have legal residence status here in Italy. We got in and out in record time--one hour total. We truly felt blessed!
We went to church in Rome 5 on Sunday. It is a wonderful, strong ward with many great families. We were blessed to see a family I knew in Rome so many years ago. I will try to get a photo of them for returned missionaries later this week. We also met a family where the father had been confirmed by our new senior elder when he was on his first mission. Then we met the son of the former area seventy from Italy who was called as a seventy the same day as the President. We took the time to take a quick photo with our Sisters.
Last week, I rushed so fast to get a blog entry because my computer finally worked that I missed adding this photo of our wonderful elders of Malta. We love them!
